This one was obviously a trial film–a “let me show you what I can do so you’ll give me the money for a whole feature” short film. As a short, it was fun–interesting makeup and visual effects, with hints at the larger world around it (that could be explored more. If he gets his chance, we’ll see if this writer/director can hold our attention for 90-120 minutes…
