For clarity, here’s the curve I grade on:
A : It made me cry (might have been joy, might have been sadness).
B: Solid movie that I really enjoyed.
C: Well, it didn’t make me want to stop watching…
D: I finished watching only to see if the ending redeemed it. (It didn’t.)
F: So bad it made me angry enough to leave in the middle.
— (ungraded): Not a bad movie, just not my cup of tea.
