As I was going through the list of movies, I saw this title and its associated photo (the one above) and immediately asked myself, “Ooooh, is this by that family who brings a film every year?” And sure enough, it is, so they are definitely building a brand.
(This is a mother, father, and two daughters with limited budget but tons of creativity who pull together their friends to make a movie every year. Mostly horror. And they are good movies.)
This year’s theme was the Rapture, but a take on it I’m sure no one else has ever done. As with most of their films (the ones I have seen), they are slow burns with peaks of oddity and excitement. Always enjoyable.
