This was a pretty straightforward rom-com. The setup and the main characters were interesting enough. As is often the case with rom-coms, the secondary and bit characters were fun to watch. Three-fourths of the way through I knew how it was going to resolve itself (like, exactly how). I personally would have preferred a little more depth than “they met and worked together and fell in love,” but I understand I am not the target audience for this type of movie.
(And I swear the theater was projecting the movie at the wrong aspect ratio. Everyone looked like they had fat faces. How can a professional movie theater do that? And how could the writer/star and director, who were present, let that go on?)
