For the first time, I took a chance on a Secret Screening, and glad I did. M. Night Shyamalan has returned to his original form and I really liked the result. This is not one of those “one twist at the end changes everything” movies, but was plenty creepy and had a touch of the … Unnatural? Supernatural? And watching James MacAvoy pull off all those characters was fun.
And seeing Shyamalan and MacAvoy for the Q&A was fun as well. MacAvoy looked like he was wearing a well-worn pair of cowboy boots.
This was a worldwide sneak peek premiere–they just finished editing it last week.
