Oops, I wasn’t paying attention and chose a Netflix film. And so kind of wish I’d waited to watch it at home.
I am really torn about this movie. Intellectually I see what the writer and director did. And I admit it put me in a similar situation to the protagonist. And I admit it took a lot of skill to pull this off. But emotionally, I was disappointed by how everything turned out. (And as always with a tricky movie like this, there were a couple of “It would have made sense to do this, but of course that would have exposed the truth so we couldn’t” moments.) So even though my heart says rate this movie a C, my brain says bump it up to a B- to honor their skill. Maybe someone else will like it better than I did…
