I was sadly disappointed by this film.
It was more about relationships than about the science fiction aspect, which would be fine. But it felt to me like the characters’ attitudes and actions turned on a dime when the plot called for it. And any aspects of the science were glossed over and unbelievable, again written and filmed to get to the next part of the movie.
There were funny parts, and the actor playing Uncle Iggy was terrific. But these could not overcome the shortcomings for me.
