Marvelous! Paul Giamatti and Julianne Moore both did excellent, excellent jobs. But they had an excellent script to work from (written, and directed, by Jesse Eisenberg). Very funny, very comic situations, but also had characters I cared about. And the bits we got to see of the musical they were performing were sufficiently cheesy. Highly recommended.
Though this was super annoying: Why did they have closed captions turned on?!? Very distracting—I almost walked out.
