Very interesting as a love letter to Austin. At least to me, having lived here so long and knowing most of the locations and references. Though most of the locations were simply shown in a montage, not named or explored, so I’m not sure it would actually charm non-Austinites.
As a comedy, it didn’t work for me. I chuckled eight or ten times, but wanted at least a few outright laughs. Ryan Hansen did what he could, but just didn’t have much material to work with.
