From the same director, fight choreographer, and one star of the Baby Assassins franchise, which I love. An absurd setup that leads to intricate, exquisite fight scenes? I’m in!

This fight choreographer has really impressed me (as have the actors and stunt people who execute the scenes). Fascinating to watch!

But the rest of the movie has its perks, too. I’ve come to appreciate the slightly exaggerated character reactions, which I assume is part of Japanese cinema. And the editing was particularly good in this movie—not just for the fight scenes, but also because it sometimes had to switch between the girl and her possessing assassin, mid-fight.
