A funny farce that keeps throwing obstacle after obstacle at the protagonists. Several times I was thinking, “Whew, they solved that prob—wait, what now?” The guy playing Larry was a hoot—I expect it’s always fun to play characters like this.
During the Q&A the co-writer/co-director told this story which he swears is true: In one scene, the script calls for a yellow ladybug to land on the lead woman’s shoulder. Yellow because that’s the color they were dressing Larry in. Their plan was to CGI it in, because how do you train a ladybug? Plus so very few of them are yellow. But while filming this scene, an actual ladybug flew in and landed on her shoulder! And it was yellow!! I’m surprised the actors could stay in character and finish the scene while it was still there…
