Great indie film full of talented people.
The script (co-written by the director) was top-notch, with plenty of subtlety and unexpected turns. I thought the end was a little disappointing—but it wasn’t the end, and the real ending was fulfilling. And there was one scene where my brain was dropping its jaw, especially impressive, the way it was filmed—I had no idea what was going to happen next but was also marveling at the artistic approach—I was stunned.
The two lead actresses were excellent. And of course beautiful scenery in Thailand. This felt like a studio movie, not an indie. Catch it if you get the chance.
