Kudos to this pair who wrote, directed, started in, ran cameras for, did post-production of—pretty much everything for this movie—during COVID. And they did a really good job with sets and special effects too. An excellent effort.
But overall the film missed the mark—all due to the script. The hero (who looked like Billy Eichner trying to be an action hero) was spouting dialog that was trying to be funny. The villain’s dialog was trying to be too clever. The heroine rang a little truer, but not enough to save the movie.
