Beautifully filmed. Intriguing approach to dialog (all made up language for this post-apocalyptic future). Nice use of the polar bear. And another kid doing a good acting job.
But story wise, I was not happy. A bunch of stuff happened, including some mystical things, especially a big one at the end, and none of the mysticism was explained. The end. Regular readers of this blog know that doesn’t appeal to me.
Side question: Can someone explain to me why every post-apocalyptic society has one a-hole whose face you never see because he wears an ominous mask or helmet…?
