From all the AFF movie trailers I could find, I was looking forward to this film the most. And it was marvelous. Just a little slow at the start, but once she finds the mouse the fun begins!

The lead actress was great to watch. The script was well done. Some fantastical things happen which you can not think about and just enjoy, or you can think about them and what they say about the main character. (I chose the latter.)

In the Q&A, the co-writers (also the lead actress and director) said they had written all the dialog for the mouse, even though they never intended to film it. That makes sense, so the actress would know where to take things. But the director was reading all of that dialog off camera so she would have something to react to. And apparently the mouse is not always nice. I am hoping when this comes out on DVD, they will include some behind-the-scenes footage of him reading the mouse’s part…
