The trailer didn’t really impress me, but I decided to take a chance. (Probably because FF said it was the “Winner ‘Best Film’ New Wave.”) What I found was a tense thriller pitting one man’s skepticism against a whole town’s belief in the supernatural. It seemed to go a little long at the end, but had me on the edge of my seat most of the film wondering what was going to happen.
