Another really good script! It does not follow the typical pattern for this kind of thriller, with very satisfying results. I can’t say too much or I’ll ruin the fun, but:
The premise is an excellent way to “trap” a bunch of characters into a single location. People keep driving up to the last gas station for 100 miles to find its pumps are dry. But not to worry, the attendant says, the fuel truck is due any minute—wait in the diner and I’ll get you when it’s here.
So a fairly large array of characters ends up in the diner, each with different agendas, many of which are in conflict. And each of them has a gun. How they all interact ends up being very interesting…
