Ugh. I did not enjoy this movie. The first 1/3 was more like a historical drama, documenting the early days of our COVID experience. (In 10 years I might enjoy that to help remember what we all lived through. But now, while we’re still not out of it yet, it’s just too soon to relive.) There was one good scene I remember with actual conflict; otherwise, the relationship between the two main characters was mostly non-confrontational or sometimes passive-aggressive. And there was something about the ending that doesn’t sit right with me–I can’t quite put my finger on it. It kind of felt like something had to happen so the writer wrote something. Maybe that’s the summary of the entire movie–someone wrote 90 minutes of material and we shot it. But that doesn’t make it a movie.
