Generally a good movie about young boys trying to outsmart adult kidnappers. Personally, I thought there were too many plot beats that conveniently prolonged or raised the dramatic tension—more than I could explain away as “okay, maybe a 9-year-old wouldn’t know any better.”
But I do agree with the FF write-up—the young lead of the movie did an excellent job.
If you can get over the occasional flaw in the script, you may enjoy this tense thriller.
