SMOKING CAUSES COUGHING
This writer/director (Quentin Dupieux) definitely makes odd films. I found this one to be more grounded than his others I’ve seen, but maybe I’m just getting used to his style. There were some very funny takes on the superhero genre. But half the movie is really an anthology as everyone has a story they want to tell, so don’t come expecting a full-blown superhero movie. Expect instead a quirky comedy, containing gags from low- to highbrow.
