This film was done by the same group who did the marvelous Beyond The Infinite Two Minutes that played at Fantastic Fest two years ago. And this one is another winner.
Another great concept—kind of like Groundhog Day except repeating two minutes instead of an entire day, plus every character is aware of the looping.
The script is well thought out and does a good job of tackling different scenarios each time through. And they were fun to watch, with each character adapting differently to the predicament.
Being in a theater I could not time the segments, but knowing this team I’ll bet each time through the loop actually takes up two minutes of screen time. I’ll also bet each two-minute loop was a single camera take with no cuts. I enjoy their meticulous attention to detail.
