A lot of people were laughing a lot and one person in the Q&A called it “brilliant,” but it wasn’t my cup of tea. The director called it her “little egg of oddity” and it seemed to resonate with a lot of other people, so you may want to take a chance on it. What I did like were the two end sequences and the lead kid did a good job.
