Another film that doesn’t feel like a movie. I think this classifies as “mumblecore” because a bunch of activity goes on, but it doesn’t really lead to or mean anything. The only possible theme I could draw was “family is messy,” but I couldn’t swear the writer/director intended that. A bunch of other little themes would start to pop up, but never came up again or got dealt with. I only stuck with it to see if they found the uncle, but even the ending was disappointing and meaningless. Ugh.
