There were some good things about this film. Certainly the lead actor did a good job with all the personality switches. And the story was somewhat intriguing.
But there were a number of things I didn’t care for in the script. Starting with the change in personality every six minutes. Dramatically this helped the writer/director tell the audience where the lead character was in the pattern–it’s almost the top of the hour, so we’re almost at the beginning of the next cycle. But there is nothing in biology that ties anything in our brain to six-minute periods, and there was no attempt to try to convince us there was. This device was completely for the convenience of the storytelling.
In the end, this one just didn’t grab me the way it could have.
(December 2020 was very busy for me so I didn’t take the time to write my reviews then. This one was written a few months later.)
