Like Spaghetti Junction, this film was a coming-of-age story.. But this one was much grittier, perhaps because it’s a boy’s story? Or perhaps because that’s the writer/director’s style.

It almost felt like two movies welded together at the middle, yet it worked. Interesting script that started off going down one road, then took a turn and focused on the side effects of the details that were presented about the characters in the first half. I wondered a couple of times about the characters’ motivations, but I could come up with explanations that satisfied me.

Trailer (Turn on subtitles. The option says “Spanish” but they’re actually in English.)
