Not a scary comedy, but a very funny horror movie. As you might expect from Lil Rel Howery. Even though he did not write it. But this is the first movie he’s directed and he did a fine job.
It also had some story to it. It wasn’t just gag after gag. Four old friends were figuring out how to reconnect with each other.
He and many of the cast and crew were in attendance, but I had another engagement I had to rush off to—I was sorry to miss the Q&A.
