This movie was a moody European art house flick. Erotic, some nudity. More visual than anything else.
What little story there was was basically a character study of a man succumbing to obsession. Then willing to give that up for superficial addiction.
But the setup for how he meets her and gets hooked is so bizarre with no real explanation, you just have to accept there’s some weird stuff going on in this world. Really weird stuff. That was hard for me to put aside.
This is not a “watch and learn something about human nature” movie. This is one you just have to let flow over you for its tone and mood…
