This movie switched gears (genres) several times, to good effect.
It started out as an interesting psychological, cat-and-mouse thriller. (They bill themselves as an erotic thriller.) Kudos to the screenwriter for keeping this fresh with some very original conceits.
Then it started to veer into “we know where this is going, seen it before” territory—but that was a feint. Suddenly it jogged back into originality, with even the things you’d guessed handled uniquely. And with a healthy dose of humor.
Also humorous: They passed out cookies after the screening, that of course related to events in the film and therefore are a minor spoiler:
A thriller worth watching.
