Fun Japanese gangster action movie. A convicted ex-cop released on temporary parole to lead a special task force to halt a feud between the Yakuza and South Korean mafia. What’s not to like?
Plot-wise, it hits all the standard notes but has some surprises. Action-wise, the hand-to-hand fight scenes (and there are many of them) are thrilling to watch. And there are some interesting characters along the way. A very entertaining movie.
