A fun journey to take (funny material with a great cast), as long as you don’t care where you’re going (the ending fell a little short).
I hadn’t stayed for the Q&A, but someone else said the director seemed to be struggling to say nice things about the movie. And that he said it had been changed between the Toronto and Austin film festivals without his knowledge. So sounds like the studio was getting nervous and meddling, which is always a shame. And now I wish I could have seen the director’s original vision.
