Wow, what an interesting film… A fascinating incarnation of Godzilla–just not enough of him on the screen. A huge percentage of the movie appeared to be social commentary on the bureaucracy of Japanese government. Which was interesting in itself, although it did drag a bit by the end. And they snuck in some interesting takes on Japan’s views of the US.
Summary: A little slow for a monster movie, but for the times the monster is on the screen TOTALLY worth seeing!
This was the North American premiere of this movie.
