On the plus side, this appeared to be one long shot so a technical achievement. I’m sure it’s difficult to manage a script that continually hands you from one character to the next, all the locations, choreographing so the cameraman can go where he needs to, no one screwing up his lines… On the minus side, that led to way too many shots of the backs of peoples’ heads while walking down hallways (or driving) for 15 to 30 seconds at a time, which was almost never suspenseful.

And another issue I had was lack of clarity. I really didn’t understand how all the pieces fit together at the end. And I was confused by one of the bad guy’s motivations:

So it entertained me for an hour and a half. But the story and characters were only semi-interesting; more of my interest was held by the technique used to film it.
