A delightful movie! Excellent script full of emotional truths. Wonderful acting. Interesting visual style with so many surreal, fun insertions. And overall a feel-good movie.
Even though the two main characters are teenagers, this was not a “teen movie” (focused on the angst of surviving high school). The issues and themes were things we continue to wrestle with as adults. And I’ll admit to completely identifying with Egghead (the leading male character)—even at my age I still have some of his traits.
I’m very glad I was able to catch this one and highly recommend it to you.
